Our goal is to have access to energy assessors to perform relevant inspections and increase energy efficiency for Apsáalooke homes. The sponsorship requires those in the program to partner with Apsaalooke Immiio for a two-year period performing assessments upon request. We are looking to host five Apsáaloooke fellows to be a part of this program. The training will be held April 27th-May 1st hosted by Iniskim Consulting LLC and Resilient Energy Solutions.
Fellows will receive hands-on experience with audit equipment including measuring devices necessary to safely conduct an audit, blower door setup & operation, pressure pan setup & operation, checking for combustion appliance leakage using a combustion analyzer, and leak detection/location using FLIR cameras. The training will include site-specific curriculum and work book that walks through the entire process from pre-audit to post-audit activities, as well as fillable forms to log initial and post-weatherization data.
Upon training completion, fellows will receive a stipend and access to an equipment inventory bank to perform assessments.
